African Reserve of Sigean

The African Reserve of Sigean is a famous wildlife park. It covers an area of over 300 hectares and is home to over 3,800 animals of more than 160 different species, including many African wild animals. The park is divided into several thematic zones, each representing a different ecosystem. Visitors can explore the different habitats and observe the animals in their natural environment.

Terra-Vinéa in Portel des Corbières

Terra-Vinéa is a discovery trail located in Portel des Corbières. It offers an immersive experience to discover the history of vines and wine in the region.
The discovery tour is designed as an interactive stroll through vineyards, cellars and wineries. It is organized into several stages, each highlighting a different aspect of wine culture. Visitors are equipped with an audioguide to discover the history of the estate, winemaking techniques and the different grape varieties grown in the region.

Port Mahon in Sigean with its sailing school

Port Mahon is a marina ideally located in Sigean, in the Aude department. It offers a range of water sports, including a sailing school. You’ll also find a range of land-based activities, including tennis, mini-golf, beach volleyball and cycling. The sailing school offers courses for all levels, from beginners to experienced sailors. Courses are taught by qualified instructors and include theoretical and practical lessons, sea outings, navigation and safety courses. Boat rental is available for exploring the surrounding Mediterranean coast.

Bize Minervois Olive Odyssey « OULIBO »

Olive Odyssey « OULIBO »  in Bize-Minervois is a must-see for lovers of olive oil and Mediterranean gastronomy. OULIBO is an olive-growing cooperative that has been producing high-quality olive oil since 1979. A guided tour of the « OULIBO Olive Odyssey » takes visitors through every stage of olive oil production, from harvesting to bottling. Visitors can also take part in tasting workshops to discover the different flavors and textures of olive oil. Visitors can also explore the charming village of Bize-Minervois, famous for its historical and architectural heritage.

The courses are taught by professional, experienced instructors, who provide the necessary equipment and teach basic kitesurfing techniques, such as kite handling and managing speed and direction.
In addition to kitesurfing, the Lake La Palme also offers a wide range of other water sports, including windsurfing, windsurfing, sailing and paddle-boarding. Visitors can also explore the shores of the lake on foot or by bike, admiring the natural landscapes of the region.
